Damien Hobgood Teahupoo Wipeout

Damien Hobgood took a turn for the worse on this one. This happened during the Billabong Pro Tahiti 2007, in the well known Teahupoo waves. Hobgood finished second in this event in 2005 and seventh last year. Will he make it this year?

UPDATE: HE really did it!!! congratulations!

There can be only one world’s heaviest wave, and that title rests soundly with the wave at Teahupoo.
